i think the garage have been looking at the wrong pump as the other pump is nearly double the price, and back order i`ll get it delivered direct to the garage

my chassis number is wa379310 so that should be the correct pump? and original equipment, dont understand the garage saying its £250 and a 4 day wait thats crazy

island only have 2 britpart ones, paddock have oem, though there is 2 listed and i`m not sure what one is for mine

finally the fault has been traced to the fuel pump, the local garage have said the part is £250 and they aint sure if its genuine landrover, anyone got suggestions on the best quality pump and best price?, does partco and places like that hold a stock of them ?

well my central locking all works, so need to look into what is switched off on p38s that were exported

yeah was kicking out good volts,localgarage are picking it up tomorrow they charge £35 an hour and pump costs £80 so all being well shouldnt be more than £300, just hope it is the pump

it was the top spec one in halfords 105 quid couldn`t get a bosch as terminals were wrong way around, so its halfords own brand. ahh ok well i`d disable them all as the eka is a pain , hey do you happen to know if a low bat voltage would trigger the becm to not operate the fuel pump ?and remain that way even when a new battery is fitted.

hmm thanks for that, that sounds possible then, the specialist i spoke to said all p38s need/have an eka code, but if exports didn`t have them then this would make sense that they don`t have 1 matching my vin number on the database, would make my becm more valuable then ;-) i will try the...

hi all still having the no fuel pump working problem, which started when my battery went flat, a specialist suggested i enter the eka code even though it isn`t asking for it, so i contacted perth land rover who have told me theres no eka code for my vehicle and instructions are in the owners...

ill let you know chief, though we both know it wont be the filter, if theres voltage issues but ill check it anyway, if only it was as simple a fix
