finally the fault has been traced to the fuel pump, the local garage have said the part is £250 and they aint sure if its genuine landrover, anyone got suggestions on the best quality pump and best price?, does partco and places like that hold a stock of them ?

Island 4 x 4 fast delivery, buy on line, and many others. Just make sure it's not Britpart, they are sh*t.
 
my chassis number is wa379310 so that should be the correct pump? and original equipment, dont understand the garage saying its £250 and a 4 day wait thats crazy

Sounds right but do ask when you order. Garages always like to charge an arm and a leg, that's probably LR recommended rip off retail price:eek:
 
i think the garage have been looking at the wrong pump as the other pump is nearly double the price, and back order i`ll get it delivered direct to the garage
