What took me 5 minutes to work out is that the top nut was a 15mm nut unlike the two 13mm bolts on the bottom. But other than that came out easy .

If it does it while standing still . Get someone to turn the steering while you get under and have a listen , would check the power steering pump to and the belt to .

Does it make the sound when you turn the steering at a stand still lock to lock or does it only do it when moving . I would more likely think it could be a hub bearing . Have you jacked up the front axle and checked the front wheels for play ?

I had this problem Last years . I took out the remote reservoir in the roof . Cleaned the loom plug out with electric contact cleaner and left it in a warm place over night as it seemed damp from condensation . Refitted next day all worked again . Even refitted it with a little silica packet...

Hi m8 . You seem to be going about it all right so far . The sunroofs not working could be a sign of water getting into motors . These can be DIY taken out cleaned up and refitted . I've got a 51plate d2 . So I would take a close look for water in the cab as there are more than one or too places...

I agree with lyron . Check you have power to glow plugs before anything else . If you do have power . Make shaw you batt has plenty of power to get a good cranking over . And then try the purge again .

Did you follow the purge / prime . Start up as in hand book after changing filter and pump ,you gotta get that air out the lines or you will just turn over and over ?

If you think it's the fpr just get under the car and shine I torch up above the starter motor you can clearly see the fpr and if it looks all shiny and wet good chance it's starting to leak .

Here's the part number DKC100890 just google it . It comes up on most 4x4 online shops . But you could always just buy a universal blade replacement and just trim and fit it to your old wiper blade .

It will be more likely the seal frame to roof . Not frame to glass . This is the most common leak . Try some waterproof tape 1st round the frame to test . . You can do it right and then take out everything and put a new seal in . Or as I did buy some auto grade sealant and put a very very very...

Does sound like the air springs have a leak . They do self seal to a degree but will only get worse . Try standing on your bumper and bouncing it ,to see if you can get it to do it again (engine off) they are very easy to change yourself if you can hold a spanner and use a trolley jack and axle...

When bleeding the air out are you un clipping the header bottle and raising it above the bleed screw ? Then add the coolant slowly with car running Getting all the air out ,

Would of thought your ES would of had them mine does . Have you tried pressing the button down . I had my d2 ES for almost a year before I found out they folded in . But then I am a bit slow :-/

Have you tried flushing out the heater matrix ?

I would just do a daily check on oil and water for the 1st week . And a general check on anything else under hood to make shaw nothings coming lose or rubbing . After the rebuild .
