lee remove the top engine cover and look at the back of the engine their are 2 breather pipes that run from the inlet manifold and the cam cover to an oil seperator these can become perished flat and become rotten and holed therefore drawing in air which can cause uneven running this problem is...

working on a 4.4 v8 l322 vogue fitting brake pads etc when eveyrthing is switched of i can hear a noise coming from the engine compartment , 2 ecus in a box behind the air filter box , lifted the lid and there is a extractor fan running for quite a while is this normal ? anyone else heard this ? :)
