Again thanks ,but I need to find the vacuum source on the engine end ,apparently on the ram or plenum...but Im buggered if I can find it .Leaves me with a vacuum leak that makes my idle high....and reduces brake vacuum too !

thanks for the patience and input guys ,sorted now ,combination of internal damage to flexi hose and pinhole seepage from steel pipe on front caliper into paint and waxoyl buildup -found by process of elimination and bleeding from furthest point repeatedly....eight ,yes 8 ,litres of fluid...

Oh ,and opened hacksaw cut on finger again....and applied brake fluid to wound .Soon I will be able to stop very well .Pity the RRC dont .

bled brakes again with another new master cyl ,another 3liters of fluid through and still u/sbrakes...5 L so far....

nobody know where the thicker of the two hoses that are attached to the globe comes from /goes to ? Cannot find anywhere on plenum or ram house

Any ideas where to find this hose spigot ? Its in none of places suggested but there is an audible vacuum leak on n/s of head.. ...plus the vacuum leak is not helping my non working brake problem .Im lost here folks ,had a jaguar apprenticed 30 year experienced engineer and a 60 year time...

fitted new master cylinder and bled out old fluid ,air and new fluid and the problems the same....bugger . pedal feels firm until engine started when the pedal travels right to floor with no resistance...no visible fluid leaks . So ,faulty new master cyl ? problem with servo end seal ? Not...

Where is the one that does the globe live ? I have not been able to find it and hence ,since replacing n/s inner wing I have a disconnected globe hose and a vacuum leak

Im having a similar problem with my RRC efi V8...I cant find where the hose that supplies the vacuum reservoir globe originates from on the engine end ! I do have the workshop manual for the vehicles from 87 onwards so maybe I could PM you the address of where I got them or even the pdf if I can...

What did I do on my RRC today ? Cut halfway through left index finger with hacksaw and had to bite wound together as hands covered in sikaflex whilst removing wing retainer bolt . And swore . A lot . And not cos of the hacksaw thing .

Lockheed type system ,had to replace various hoses during n/s front wing replacement which led to much bleeding .Both brakes and myself .The last time I used a Gunson easy bleed with spare tyre air pressure...having not used one for 20 plus years I forgot about the over pressure thing ...i.e ...
