If it is complete but supplied in primer, you will still have to take it apart to paint behind runners etc and inside faces or it will rust. Not had Rocky Mountain ones, will have a look.

Check A-frame ball joint, prop uj's and for play in diffs. Check radius and trailing arm bushes on chassis and axles.

Yes. Has just been trimmed to cut that curve off. Do a google image search for Land Rover series 2 and compare.

Use an oil extractor pump to get the level correct. You can use a large medical syringe attached to windscreen washer pipe, fed down dipstick tube and gently draw it into syringe. Fiddly but works. Repeat as many times as needed to correct level.

Well done chap! Mine passed last week. No advisories and I'm still rejoicing/praising Jah! Has been a lot of work, time and money to get it into it's current condition though.

Update: With injector cleaner in, went for 130 mile round trip to Mot test and back.... No smoke at all!! Ran like clockwork, no slight misfire, nothing! Happy days!!
