most bike shops sell gaitors for enduro / trial bikes

sounds like lifters may be worn out and letting oil drain down , so has to re prime its self every time , how long does it take before oil presure is up ? i would try a oil change with OE filter and good oil , you can also get hydraulic lifter additive that may help

fitted my home made sliders last night started by cutting 3mm plate and welding it in where the old trims fitted to give a solid base to weld to , ( still have the bottom and inner to do ) and got to paint it yet but well happy also remover the tow bar:D

you can get new for around £35 each mate

get **** loads already mate so a bit more wont bother me:d

am a bit new to off roading and wonderd if anyone was about this sat or sunday i could tag along with in KENT i think my disco will be ok but not sure about the pilot:D

i may well get corrected :p, but as far as i can see the hard casing would be rusted through making them only good for a get you home type thing:)

same size and make as mine , were fine on my stock disco before i lifted it no triming or stop adjustment but did rub on rear a little coming off speed bumps ( should be some pics on here when it was stock with the 245's )

righto , disco 1 + 2" springs with front and rear dislocation cones chassis mounted my problem is , bottom of front springs dont reseat properly on seats if weight taken off is it ok to use these to clamp bottom coil to seat

with 8k - 9k to spend you could get a well sorted dogs bits disco v8 and have more than enough cash for fuel :) or get somthing later for same sort of money as a dogs disco1 , and spend the spare cash making sure all the electrics are spot on :doh: i know what i would do but thats just...
