Hi Folks.
Tiny needs your help on something.
Does anyone with an old L Series find that the heater takes an age to warm up? Tiny has always been a bit lacking on the heater side of things but its really starting to get on my nerves a bit now. The temp dial works fine - warms up fine but the...
We are talking about the tie bar that is found under the N/S/F aren't we? Big chonking rubber mount at one end and a smaller one at the other? Steadies the engine? L Series?
L Series engine mount? Go to the dealer - they are under £40 and now have a damping block welded to them..5 min job to replace. Just make sure you put it on the right way up !!! If the noise still continues check the resonator living under the N/S wing - they have a habit of rattling on the...

Flying through every MOT for the last 7 years with flying colours: Priceless.;)

If you are thinkin "Saw ya comming" then yeah, quite possibly. If you are also thinking "get a second opinion" then yeah - I am thinkin what you are thinkin.:(
Now I am no expert (No **** I hear you all cry) but going by the discriptions I have heard from mates with Hippo's where the IRD has gone they do not drive at all. Lots of crunchy tinkly noises and the feeling of cogs being stripped of their teeth.
Sorry to ruin the fun but Tiny recovered my mates TD5 Tractor last year after it got stuck in a dune...he has NEVER and will NEVER live it down! In fact...must remember to bring it up yet again tonight...
