Ok guys, the towbar is on, the tailgate is open... Where do i start and what do i do with these wires attached to the towbar socket?...C'mon class....hands up....

First ever mod I did to tiny (to save filter replacement really) I would say it has quite nicely paid for itself by now (160k later). Never had an issue with them - they flow more air and filter better than enything else on the market. If you are down on power you need a new MAF methinks.:D

How wrecked do I feel. After Tiny suffering the L series vibration at low revs on acceleration peoblem I have at last sorted it and it was Sooooo obvious!! After a good look at the front pipe mount there appeared to be a crack (yep - that simple). After removing the bolts the entire bracket fell...

Wrong way round?? LOL. Tell us how you noticed...look on your face etc..LOL:D

First - have you had new tires? Secondly - I would be tempted to pop under and just check the 2 bolts from UJ's to VC (outbound side of the support bearings) are tight and the c shaped washers are present and correct. Will take you 2 mins to check.....You still here?

Landy do a repair kit for the front prop joint - part number TVF000010 Includes new gaiter and joint.

I had a similar prob years ago - I only use genuine bearings now.

Tiny is an L Series. Try these mods and you should have a smile on your face. A - De-cat (remove cat, smash out the innards, replace) B - Blank off the EGR valve (£5 for a blanking plate) C - Tweek the boost release a few threads on the adjuster. D - Tuning Box E - Upgraded intercooler...

Its a doddle...I would be tempted to replace the carrier bearings while they are off though.

No pics as yet but will see what I can do. (I was actually thinking of doing a "how to" guide" when I did them!) I used some black leatherette from my local material supplier. It cost £14 for 2 square meters. Looks no different from the leather on the seats once its been wiped down with a baby...

There is a repair kit available from all good main dealers ;) for £60 which includes a new joint but was just wondering if they were prone to wearing out. Its got to the point now with Tiny I am trying to be pre-emptive due to the miliage!!!:D

Hey all Anyone heard of the front prop joint (where it goes into the IRD) drying out and causing vibrations? :confused: Heard some mechanic in the pub going on about it and was just wondering if he was talking from the correct end :D

I know the seats will because Tiny has a lovely black leather number from an 05 reg and she is a 98 reg. Recovered the door cards myself - quite easy to do ;)

I unblocked Tiny's cat by RoverRon's method of whacking a great big chisel down it. Once you take a look at the internals of a cat its amazing how ANYTHING gets through them! This is a mod I stongly recomend on a diesel as the difference to performance with a gutted cat is quite astonishing. Its...

It could just be something as simple as the radiator cap. Unscrew the cap and screw a diesel engine to it ;)
