I've been looking at the Faultmates. The software is expensive for home use. I assume you can do alot more with the Faultmate than the standard OBD laptop software?

Is there any software that can be brought to work with the standard OBD cable?

It's a 2001 4.6. When I had it in bits I put new seals on the injectors and cleaned them up. I blew the injectors out with compressed air. Would this have Damaged them?

Got a fault code P1319 miss fire at low fuel level. Has anyone any idears what this could mean. Got plenty of fuel in the tank. Resently rebuilt the heads.

Quick update, pulled the top inlet manifold off today. The gasket looks to have been leaking and was slightly damaged. I must of damaged it when placing them manifold on. Put back together with a new manifold gasket, being very careful this time. Started up ok and sounds good. Took it for a...

I find these engines sensitive to the make of spark plug. Mine had a miss fire, turned out the champion spark plugs were no good. Even with new ones out the box. Fitted Brisk plugs, problem sorted.
