The best thing about a Landy or ranger is the amount of extras an removable parts so you can really make it your own so I say go for it, remove the steps and valance.

Hi, not sure on a freelander but my dads Japanese 4x4 (say no more) it was the central locking relay on the way out, so locate the fuse box with the relays and find the central locking one and swap it with another one that is the same I.e main beam's an see if the problem persists, I so I'd post...
