Been looking up drystone walling and asking a few builders etc about it , by the sounds of it it easy enough just takes forever , but with the numbers we might have it should only take 2 mins :-)

Gave a statement this aft and have been asked to ask if anyone else who was there would be willing to give witness statement , if your willing can ya pm me your contact info and I will pass it on to the officer dealing with this case :-) And so you all know they are fully awere of the recovery...

Sounds like the vigilantly lane repairing may be the only way around it if we want it done this millennia then ?

I know this is a bit of an old post but was wondering if anyone gr anywhere with this as there are a number of u interested in helpin out repairing some of our local/not so local lanes

Been thinking about offering me services to repair some lanes , anyone got any idea who would be best to talk to , I can manage a normal brick wall or fence but never tryed a drystone , willing to learn tho .

Dunno if it was nicked but it was illegal no tax or such , but they had been ripping up local lanes te night before causing alsorts of damage to property

Shame there superiors couldn't just give the nod we where stood round freezing for a good few hours , we could of move it in 30 mins , but thankfully god or the fairys or who ever felt bad for us and it magically moved ;-)
