Just spent a bit of time tidying up a couple of bits on the fender.

got to the bulkhead, cleaned off the rust, couple of small holes as I expected, sprayed waxoyle in there, here in lies my problem.
I then went to go over with some rust cure, and as the waxoyle is well, oily, it hasn't stuck, ok, the waxoyle should be ok to stop/kill the rust.

however, will filler stick?? if not, what can I do about it??

With filler in, it's only going to be a matter of time before you'll be repairing the bulkhead again, better to weld in fresh metal. :)

Panel wipe should get all grease and other crap like that off, failing that a bit of 1200 grit wet and dry sanding round the area first should make it clean enough for filler to stick, but likes been said weld some new metal in or you will be looking at filling again in 2 years max

It's only a stop gap to stop it getting any worse, once the spring comes, and I've learnt to weld, Ill be sorting it properly.
is it somthing about the bulkhead on a fender? I've filled wheel arches a few times before, and not had rust coming back through after 4 years

Burn it it's a bag o crap n e way :-D

:-( I got some patches to sort on mine not looking forward to it at all
