2 serious questions for once.... 1. If the backlighting is working does that mean power is getting to the switches, therefore not the outstation? 2. Can you prise off the switches from the circuit board or will that break them? Cheers again.

Probably common knowledge but you can wire it up so that the screen only works when in park if auto or the handbrake is on.

In my defence, I couldn't fit a quarter the amount of wine in my E46 Coupe...

Velcro tape and some superglue/neat stitching might be a cheaper option. My mat makes a bee line for the door every time I get in or out.

Who says Rangies are unreliable... mine even mends itself, at least temporarily. Switches now working intermitantly, hoping they just need to dry out properly.

Mine only has two brackets, both protrude from the bottom of the grill/top of bumper just inside the headlights.

If the weather would ever improve enough over the weekend for me to get the bumper off and remove the brackets remaining from my nudge bar (now removed) I'll take some pics and get some dims for you.

Left the sunroof open during a downpour... think it's killed the switch console. Hoping against hope that wd40 and a spell in the hotpress might save it. List of stuff req'd from the breakers seems to be growing quite quickly. Wish I'd room for a donor car!

Got the dreaded "Alternator Fault" message today after hurridly running out to close an open sunroof in the middle of a downpour. Engine wasn't running, message appeared halfway thru closing. Should I panic?
