Thanks for that I understand better now so would the toe in make a difference as I have changed the toe link and dampers/rear but have not had the 4 wheel alinement done yet.

Hi gold rover I have done the diagnostic on the rr now and didn't know if you had an idea the Hawkeyes says dtc 50 cam bus failure short circuit to positive sporadic. And the second said dtc 100 arthentication vacidity sporadic fault I'm a bit lost can you help please. Thanks Pete

hi gold rover I did a physical check and found one of the height sensors had a crumbled sent where it attaches to the sub frame so I changed it that why I then cleared the fault, driving around the village it has been fine slow speed but this morning it was main roads at 50 not bumpy roads and...

I haven't looked at that yet as this happened at 4.00am this morning 2 miles away from home so I had to bring back and swap cars, as I didn't want to risk damaging anything as I'm new to the RR. at least I know I can still drive it at a lower speed to get to destination if this happens again...

Is it still safe to drive its set at the normal running height or should I say stuck at the middle height?

Thanks Norseman the genuine alloy wheel bolts I have, these have been added later I assume as they where on it when I bought it,they are stormer 20 inch and the nuts are different to the originals?

Hi. All After replacing my rear dampers,and feeling elated that I had completed this I decided to take the rr out for a spin.when I got back I realised in my excitement I had left the locking nut socket in the wheel, so this is now gone. I cannot find any info in my paper work of a socket number...

The hubs didn't hang but it is possible that I may have moved something within the sensor as you sai it's close to the bracket of the toe link,it was seines in. I'll see when I get a diagnostics many thanks for everyone's help Petebowling

hi I've done some work on the rear suspension new dampers and toe link but now I have inactive air susp on the dash normally turning it full lock left to right it resets, but now it stays on no warning lights and the fuses are ok. Has anyone any ideas what it could be or is there a trick to sort...

Oh well I'll have to make do with finding the o ring the diff is good and am changing the front prop and flanges etc to rule them out as I have a clunk when braking all discs and pads have been changed but there is play in the transfer box flange that connects to the front prop so maybe the...

That's right it's that type, it says there is a rubber o ring that fits over the spline of the prop shaft as you push it into the diff coupler and acts as a dust,grit etc shield when the sleeve has been pushed in fully. Do you think they would do the recall on it now it is 15 years old?

Hi Saint v8 My rr is a 2003 td6 and has the spline coupling on the front prop shaft, that slides into the coupling on the front diff. Would this be part hr 1 ? Petebowling
