i need to get this to work because the car is out off sync,****in typical when you need this thing to work it pulls a wobbly,does anybody know the wire colours that syncmate uses to comunicate with the car,cheer's pat.

yes it's definetly the right one for the diesel as it has worked before,just a thought here does the car need to be out of sync before it will communicate,or is that me just wishful thinking.pat.

now for another ****in problem,after fitting fuel injection pump,now i cant check if the pump is timed right, i cant get the car to start,because i am not getting any diesel to the pump,no diesel coming out of hose after filter,and i cant sync the car with the syncmate to make sure the pump...

still cant get this to comunicate,only getting red light,have checked fuses,plug's everything looks ok.i need to get this to work because the more i try to start this ****ty car,the more chance it will go out of sync,when the battery get,s low what else could make it not to comunicate,cheer's pat.

hi,j,mhm,yes ingnition was on,j ive used it before on the car,ive just changed fuel pump,and i plugged the syncmate in,so that i would know if ive timed the pump right; but i got red light,****in typical just when you need this thing to work i get ****in red light.pat

do you need to take the black box with the plug in adaptor from old pump off when you change to a new fuel pump.pat.

what does one red light mean on the syncmate,cheers pat.

hi wammers,i have try'd to take reading on dti,when the lobe is 12oclock,i pre load the dti by 2m,when turning engine so that i get point for zeroing the outer bezel the lobe is nearly tdc,so when i turn engine a little i can lock the flywheel with no reading,if i take locking pin out and...

hi wammer's iv'e put in the pump,now when i go to turn engine i cant seem to turn it,i did have to turn pump so that the woodruff key aligned,the cam lobe is at one o'clock when i put locking pin in what seem to be the matter could it have me turning the pump,cheers pat.

yes,that will be the last time i change them,especialy when all your using is chisel and 2pound club hammer,top one not to bad you can batter it down and about a bit to get it out,and put in new one in,but the bottom is a different story you have to batter it up the way not an easy task but...

hi,wammer's,you dont have a picture of the way the dti gauge and adaptor should look prior to screwing it into the pump,you mention that to preload the gauge you clamp it with a screw,all i seem to have are two parts that can screw together,one has a screw on it,and two different bar's that can...

another question guys, about this DTI gauge there are 2 dials on this, one large outside dial that has readings from zero round to zero. going clockwise in multiples of 10. underneath that there is another number that says 90, ie 10 =90 20=80 etc. on the small dial, the numbers zero to zero...
