The screaming sounds like the in tank fuel pump. I had one in the garage last week and changed the pump , still the same noise. :( It fianly turned out to be a blocked NEW diesel filter that had been fitted a few days previous.

The cat is the bulge in the front pipe of the exhaust IF fitted on your model.

I think the first thaughts you had are the first places i would look. Loose wire , flat/low power battery, loose terminal on battery , starter dead , There are many causes for this so its justa case of iliminating things as you go . Has it got an alarm or imobliser fitter ?

It will be fitted inside the ecu. You wont know from looking at it what its been programed for. Do you know if yours has been done ? What year is your car ?

It just lifts out m8 ,no need to undo the small nut in the centre, this attaches the rubber to the shaft of the cam part. It may have a little tention on it because the needle is pressing on it from 3 o clock. You may have the best you can already , there may be more ****ible depending on...

He was correct inwhat he was saying if your car was set to std, but he may not know if it is or not. So i recomend you remove the diaphram as in pic "just lift out gently with cam attached" Look for the lowest part of the cam , put a mark on the black rubber and set the low part to 3 o...

This may help :) See needle is on lowest part of the cam ,this is max fueling.

If you pull it out you will see a cam shape on the bottom of it , look for a line on the cam and that is where the pump runs. make it so the lowestpart of the cam is at 3 oclock , this is max . infact i try find a pic now ,,, sec lol

There is as you have found out on the 200 and 300 series engines some need for testing and adjusting to get them the best you can for your car. I think my diaphram it just short of 1/4 of a turn leavingit just a bit waffy on the smoke side.

Yes , I have done most of his mapping, on the basic models/stages so he can have many software revisions in stock ready for the cars. Then he just has to choose which varient he wants to use on a particular car.

Im running just over 1bar, not that it is advised but i have done this on my own 90 for the last 5 years with no problems. Mileage wise i get about 220miles to the tank full no matter how i drive it. I know yours is a disco but the cacluations shoud be very simlar.
