Im running just over 1bar, not that it is advised but i have done this on my own 90 for the last 5 years with no problems.

Mileage wise i get about 220miles to the tank full no matter how i drive it.
I know yours is a disco but the cacluations shoud be very simlar.

Yeah Ive just adjusted mine just over the 1 bar !!!

A certain ** engineering company has said that the boost gauge we could get ie durite are for cars and therefore it measures different to the boost of the diesel.

Thats what my mate got told on his td5 got told when he had his reflashed by them ....

So a week later it was off to allisport and had the intercooler done and reflash, it goes like a rocket now

My mapping on the TD5 then lol

I must admit Andrews intercoolers are the dogs dangles

Glad your m8 is happy m8.

Yes ,

I have done most of his mapping, on the basic models/stages so he can have many software revisions in stock ready for the cars.
Then he just has to choose which varient he wants to use on a particular car.

Yeah had mine for about 4 years now and still going strong

just re adjusting the fuel and the boost at the mo

At the momment it feels a lot of torque low down and whenit gets to the top end it seemed a bit empty if you know what i mean

So im just going to lean the fuel pump a litle more

There is as you have found out on the 200 and 300 series engines some need for testing and adjusting to get them the best you can for your car.

I think my diaphram it just short of 1/4 of a turn leavingit just a bit waffy on the smoke side.

Was fairly impress with it I used to be able to challenge him in my disco againts his td5 but now iv got no chance !!!

Put it this way he had a big smile on his face and it sounded awesome like a v8 to be honest !!

Did he have a boost box fitted as well and the turbo wound up a touch ??

Was it a disco or defender ??

Theres a dot on there is that close to the top right hand screw in hole cos thats where mine is close to.

My mate who has a disco but the smaller allisport version is only half way up the left hand side

If you pull it out you will see a cam shape on the bottom of it , look for a line on the cam and that is where the pump runs.

make it so the lowestpart of the cam is at 3 oclock , this is max .

infact i try find a pic now ,,, sec lol

Thanks for that so its not just turning the diaphram clockwise towards the front of the car.

That seem to be the initial instruction when I bought the intercooler.

Andy did give me a more basic diaphram and basicly said pull out turn towards the front and that was for the bigger intercooler

He was correct inwhat he was saying if your car was set to std, but he may not know if it is or not.

So i recomend you remove the diaphram as in pic "just lift out gently with cam attached"

Look for the lowest part of the cam , put a mark on the black rubber and set the low part to 3 o clock.
"if your looking into the engine from the drivers side wing"

Then if a little smokey turn anti clockwise 1/8" at a time untill you have max with no smoke etc etc..

If you get stuck or are unsure give me a ring and ill talk to you on phone while you do it

Yeap correct the instruction was from standard

so does it just lift out cos when I tried i thought i would have to undo the bolt at the top first

If just lifting out the rubber wouldnt rip by any chance would it !!

At the momment as I say she pulls and hardly smokes, she did when I had her on bio

Thanks and will do

Its just I havent met anyone with the same setup so I dont know if mine is running as it should be if you know what I mean

Its certainly a lot faster than a standard and a lot more torque

It just lifts out m8 ,no need to undo the small nut in the centre, this attaches the rubber to the shaft of the cam part.

It may have a little tention on it because the needle is pressing on it from 3 o clock.

You may have the best you can already , there may be more ****ible depending on the possision it was set as in standard form.
They do vary slightly from car to car.
