Replaced all the diff mounts .
Not as hard as I thought and I didn't take the prop off first just moved it away with a pry bar and wiggled the front mount in:)
We moved my exhaust to allow the fitment of a LPG tank,
removal of the rear cubby a piece of pipe and a powerflow "silencer"
free up a lot of space/ clearance underneath the rear floor
use the existing frame and weld the plate to it ,make it a bit longer at the back and use the pre tapped holes in the sub frame to fix it .
I put a 6mm rubber spacer between the plate and the sub frame as a vibration dampener as the plate buzzed a bit at constant road speeds(50-55)
Wouldn't putting a 52mm throttle body on increase/push the (power) higher up the rev range?
On my XJR1300 Yamaha the carb rubbers are restricted to increase the torque/midrange driveability,
The popular mod of fitting larger intakes gives better top end at a cost of driveability,OK if you rag it...
just a thought
but is the thermostat not opening enough and restricting the flow ,pressurising the rad and shoving the coolent into the tank?
Can you take the stat out and see what happens?
Have you checked the water pump?
Mine was faulty and was weeping a small amount of coolant But you couldn't see any dampness on the block I only noticed when a pool appeared in the under tray.
Up till then I was topping up the water every couple of days and feared a Head Gasket fault.
Its a bit...
Don't know if you off road types are interested ,its in aid of the Air Ambulance and Mc Millan Cancer and local church repair

I have to say even though the lanes are now smooth they are still worth a visit, as the views west across the valley towards Wentnor, the Stiperstones, and on a clear day Snowdon are worth it .
And all that fresh air is good for you:)
