Depending on the driving, mine takes 10 mins to get up to running temp, sometimes more on a cold day. And yes the noise is normal, it's the centridugal oil filter spinning down as lightning correctly said. Theres nowt wrong with yours by the sounds of it. A v8 will always warm more quickly...

Personally I'd go for the OEM new stuff, it's the safest bet. You never really know how long the second hand ones are going to last.

I used a rivnut, just borrowed the riveting tool from a mate, now I just bolt the brackets into the insert. Don't think my mudflaps are going anywhere now. Adsey

Definately UJ's. Probably through lack of greasing, as you haven't serviced it for a while. Adsey
