1. Often when selecting 1st when stationary, it jerks forwards ever so slightly. Doesn't seem to move, but you can feel it. Could the clutch not be disengaging properly.
2. Clunk when depressing the clutch in 2nd and 3rd and sometimes 1st. Problem seems to come and go.
3. How do I check the rear axle ball joing because there's a clonking coming from the rear axle when moving of forwards or backwards, or moving around in 1st with the Td5's stupid jerky throttle response.
4. Slight clunk when applying the brakes - Quite possibly UJ's which i'm going to change soon due to vibrations on the overrun.
5. Whenever it rains hard passenger footwell get's soaked, looks like it's dripping out below the speaker. Where might the water be getting in. (Haven't got a sunroof)

Probably.

Probably linked, or it could be low fluid in the gearbox just amplifying the noises that are there anyway.

A big crowbar, try to lever it about. Then, get someone to rock the car back and forwards, while you lie underneath it and see if the ball joint appears to 'clonk'.

Probably UJ's, or one of the other bushes around the axles, like shock bushes, radius arms, check them all as above.

Welcome to LR ownership! It is probably coming in through the door shuts. Google Defender Water Ingress, there is a good LR workshop manual that shows how to keep water out of the whole car.

Other than that lot, everything seems fine. I'm sure there'll be more, thanks for any help.
