Rain stopped for a few minutes so took out pollen filter and checked the L/H blower. Not working at all, going to get a replacement off ebay and fit when it stops raining.

    Wining noise from Center console

Possible the cabin temperature sensor which is directly below the clock. It has a small fan on it that draws air into the sensor, this may be the source of your whine.

Datatek, Blowers can be controlled by Nanocom but not individually :suspicious: Nanocom now reporting:- L/H blower motor high side of regulation circuit fault (permanent). Is the regulation circuit built into the motors or a seperate unit ? Can't play at the moment as it's p*****g down.

    Heater Core O Rings done.

Is it ok to remove and reconnect the SRS plug on the instrument panel / under dash without disconnecting the battery, as I don't want the ball ache of re-synching keys etc again.

    Heater Core O Rings done.

I was lucky with mine. It was very tight so I used a Cross head screwdriver with a hexagon on the shaft and used a small ring spanner to get extra purchase. Thankfully it moved without damaging the head. I think it is M5 x 40, hopefully someone can confirm.

    brought it home today

+1 on blend motors. Check all steering joints and damper. If you do the blend motors, change heater core o rings at the same time as they WILL leak at some point, and it saves stripping the dash again. They only cost a few pennies.

Hi all, Yesterday was a good day all in all. Heater core o rings replaced and dash reassembled, all fine and dandy. This morning, SRS Airbag fault showing so connected Nanocom to find "Drivers Airbag open circuit" (current). So, maybe a bad connection but I only disconnected SRS loom...

Hi all, Connected new Nanocom to my 1999 4.6 HSE to see why book symbol is illuminated on HEVAC screen. Nanocom showing the following fault :- L/H Blower motor stop mode fault ( Current ). I take it this means the L/H blower is knackered, can anyone confirm please.

    code reader/scanner

Nice thing with the Nanocom is it isn't locked to the vehicle VIN. So if you get it with the Diesel modules you can use it on any P38 diesel. Don't know about Hawkeye.

    RR & RR Sport

I bought a brand new Sport in 2007, then sold it in 2010 once the warranty was out. nice car but basically a good looking discovery. If I ever decide to go newish again it would be a proper Range Rover without a doubt.

    wheels

Same as Clarky130. Went from 18" to 16", got rid of tramlining and steering shake, better ride, and much better off road as I fitted A/T tyres.

    Best one to buy

All cars, no matter what the badge say's on it's arse, are designed with a 10 year lifespan. When Tarquin buys a new Range Rover it's covered by a 3 year warranty so, he drives it a lot and racks up 90 to 100,000 miles then chops it in for another new one because Daddies Company is paying Along...

    Nanocom prices

Hi Ed, Bought the Nanocom Evolution II last week and paid £359.16 including Vat, post and packaging, and a 3% surcharge for using paypal. Took about 4 days to get here from placing order on line. A bit expensive but a very good bit of kit. Cheers......Tc.
