6000 miles ago I fitted a Cellular steering damper which improved things but it didn't last. Checked it a couple of weeks ago and it was doing nothing on the inward stroke. Very disappointed. I have both Optimate and Aldi chargers. Both do the same job but there is a vast difference in price.

The Transfer Box has it's own oil as well so, check that. As advised with the diffs, make sure the level plug will undo before draining.

1995 to 1998 GEMS V8 4.0 and 4.6 has fuel filter in fuel line close to the air tank. 1999 to 2002 BOSCH MOTRONIC V8 (Thor) 4.0 and 4.6 does not have a fuel filter. The fuel filter is included in service kits for the GEMS engine but, is surplus to requirements if you have the BOSCH Thor engine...

Hi all. I was looking through the How to section and saw the thread on Diesel re-synch using the Nanocom Evo. As in this thread title, I have the Motronic V8 modules in my Nanocom and wondered if the procedure to re-synch is the same ? If not, could one of you clever gents guide me through...

I noticed that when the refurbed wheels went back on, they were sporting new tyres which wasn't included in the costs either. So no profit at all. I suppose it's more about making a program.

The Subzero cable will be from an aftermarket subwoofer or the like which the previous owner has perhaps removed. You might find the other end in the boot somewhere. Leave it disconnected.

Saint....... I agree with your sums on equivalent MPG on Gas and should have said that the shortest journey for me was a 24 mile trip to my place of work. Short trips from cold and town work would bring it in line with your calculations. :)
