had same problem it was the feul filter pipe the one to the left nearest you there is a bleed valve inside that chokes up

can i just say the oil in the red plug once cleaned may then spread to maf plug egr solenoid plugs and right through the under bonet fuse box as mine did been cleaning the multi plugs for 8 months now so if you have had a lot of oil in the red plug and still after changeing the harness have...

have you checked feul preasure yet could have blockage in feul fillter head assy remove pipe works on filter head check for blockage before you spend any more cash

feul pump should make a noise try disconecting maf and see if it revs past 3500 somtimes better to start new tread and introduce yourself with good info on model year etc

tbh not an easy job google discovery ball joint removal and u will find that you can make a removal tool for job if you know someone that can weld one up for you

grind off top of ball joint /then smash it out with hammer quick clean with sand paper lube up fit new ball joint to replace upper and lower takes 1 n half hours no need to remove axel

hi my d2 steering has 2 full turns on sterring wheel for left lock and just over 1 and a half for right lock. problem is the steering on right corners springs back to centre no probs but left corners the steering does not go back to centre without a helping hand replaced ball joints /track rods...

if you have oil in the red plug you will also find it in other places like maf plug/fuse box and so on

my disco 2 had oil in loom always had missfire 8 months aft new injector loom i found oil in the under bonet fuse box /grey multi plug top right hand side cleaned this and missfire gettin better also oil in maff plug if u have had oil in red plug before it can spread everywhere check all plugs...

the engine managment light on dash will flash takes 2 to 3 mins dont pump acc pedal to start car just ignision on and pump 5 times dont start engine light should flash on dash

try turn key to position 2 pump ac pedal 5 times should go into self bleed listen in boot for feul pump and rear drivers wheel for feul filter if a lot of whooshing in feul filter mayby blocked give this a try
