Sounds like the CV in the front swivels if it happens when you are on lock. Benst thing to do is to see if you have any drive to either end at all by looking under with some one selecting and engaging a gear, if one of the props go round then you have a problem in the axle some where, if...

I could be wrong but the OEM parts need pressing in as aposed to the polybush style that come in 2 halfs, the only grief then is getting the old ones out!

You can also empty it and replace it with the one shot grease, it has a higher viscosity and is less likly to leak.

Just changed overy my gear box for a second hand one. I am haveing two troubles, in the proces of getting it in I have managed to bend bothe the gear leavers slightly, what do I need to do to remove them and swap them form my old box. Also the main gear leaver does not sit central ie. 3rd up...

The Cam belt went on a Renalt I used to have, when I put ip back together it was also lumpy, turned out I had the belt out by one tooth on one of the places, took it off and rectified it, worked well after that, untill some one stole it!

Just did my clutch, it must have done 60,000+ the plate was fine the fork looked brand new but the release bearing was totaly shot. I tow a caravan and have been towing a 2t trailer and generaly abusing it!

It won't be the wire as you would find your self stalling as it looses power and cuts the fuel, more likely to be the solenoid. Never looked at it myselfe but probably some kind of washer in there soewhere, maybe need replacing.
