    upgradeto 20"

20" better than 19" in ride quality and handling IMHO. 18" give the softest and probably most comfortable ride. No need to recalibrate anything! Where are u located? I may have a newish set available.

    I did it .... But.....

Steve Hill is a LR specialist in Brislington (near the retail park). It costs c.£60-80 (cant remember exactly) to get him to read codes adn poss fix.

    L322 FBH help

Clarkie, I doubt it will be in the back cos it would then show up in the front screen menu as Aux heat.

The madness is spreading P38 to L322

@OP, the 5L SC's appear to be being snapped up at a great rate at the moment. quite a few guys have bought them and are raving about them. I would love one but just couldn't stomach the fuel bill. But mechanically they seem to be pretty sound. They also tend to have all the toys as standard...

    2003 L322 auto box trouble

As Data said, never heard that line before about gearbox pressure. I had a 2002 TD6 which went like Sh!t off a shovel from ignition, even before getting warm. It is definitely NOT underpowered! Seems like some Class A BS from the dealer! Bremble may be able to shed some light on that pressure...

    L322 FBH help

If you don't have Aux heating on your screen menu then you do not have the FBH receiver fitted in the rear. All diesels have a FBH to get the motor up to heat quicker as it runs colder than a petrol. However you will need a receiver and a remote. there is a good amount of FBH installation info...

    Range rover lpg v8?

LPG cars no longer congestion charge exempt in London! And even those new cars that were originally low-emission have now been reclassified and have to pay, so all those poor saps who rushed out and paid up for a new car to avoid the congestion charge now have to pay just like the rest of us...

    Which Range Rover?

I've got a STAG system on mine fitted by AUTOPROFESSGAS near Cardiff. Very professional, Polish outfit. CAr now has over 156,000 miles, probably 40k with LPG. Had the car over 2 years. No probs whatsoever. Costs 20-25p per mile, depending on how spirited I drive! :cool2: Have PM'd you with some...

    Issues after pressure car wash.

Never pressure wash anywhere near the engine bay, inside or underneath or on top. Several ECUs are situated there and damp can get in and cause them to fail. The ABS ECU for instance is designed so badly that the bottom of the connector acts like a saucer, collecting water and letting it run...

Woop new range rover owner - l322 content

It's true LPG has a higher octane rating than gasoline (c. 110-112 RON I think), but at the same time it has a LOWER energy content, due to its lower density. Needs a higher CR (compression ratio) in LPG IIRC?

Which is better 4.4 or the supercharged 4.2 V8

Data, sorry got mixed up with the old P38 engine. Think it was valve seats (?) in the L322? Deffo stg not liking LPG in them. Lots on this on fullfatrr.

Which is better 4.4 or the supercharged 4.2 V8

The Supercharged would be a very different (and poss More enjoyable?) car to your 4.4 V8. It has all the toys I think. Also others have reported not much of a difference in consumption, only 2-4 MPG. Supercharged have had probs in the past with LPG, esp the 4.2 Jag engines due to slipped valve...

    "Best" way to spend £10k

DK, IIRC the winter kit includes the FBH (fuel burning heater) which comes on at a pre-set time or by remote. Already in situ on the diesel but special order on the petrol. Gearboxes tend to be better on the Petrol but all need good maintenance and oil/filter changes at some stage! My 156,000...
