Strange really both the green light and red light comes on now when the ignition is turned on, engine starts, lights go out and it’s running fine again. I have pulled various spade connectors on and off but I don’t know what I’ve done if anything.

Thanks I will check, the other thing I have noticed is the little round charge light does not all ways come on when you turn the ignition on, should that not come on when the ignition is switched on.

Went to give the old girl a run to day and the engine runs for a short while then stops, if you leave it for a while it will start and run a bit then stops, it’s the original petrol engine in it, I think it’s fuel related is there something common I should try first with it, it was running fine...

Can you still buy the canvas tilt that goes with a truck cab, I think they were called 3/4 tops, I have all the frame work for a full soft top, not sure if I can use some of that to put it on. Thanks

Thanks for advice, mechanic came out to me from the garage with a new belt and fitted so all is well. He basically said the same, don’t drive if that belt looks like it may snap or is damaged, not sure really why a new belt would break up, he had never seen it before, all the rollers, pulleys...

Just got my 110 13 plate defender back from the garage after a service and the new drive belt that they fitted has started to break up on it. I will call them in the morning about this as they were shut by the time I got home. If this snaps while I am driving back to them will it do damage to...

I am near Petersfield Hampshire, I put some wyns in it to day and gave it a blast, no change still got a sewing machine under the bonnet.

I’ll give it a go, I may put some Wynn’s hydraulic valve lifter in it as well. If you see a Blue 2 door Range Rover in the lay-by give us a tow.

I have thought about giving it more of a blow out but could I do damage

It has been standing for a few years prior to it being put back on the road, driving it though has made no difference, I will strip it my self if it’s to much to have done, I just lack a bit of confidence on this to be honest.

I have given it an oil change but no difference, I have seen wyns do something that you can put into the engine that’s supposed to quieten things down but I have a feeling it’s past that stage.

Hi I recently got a 2 door suffix F Range Rover with the original v8 petrol in, the tappets are very noisy and I expect they need changing along with the camshaft, I am not sure about doing this my self so what as a ball park figure would I pay to have this done. Thanks

I cleaned up the connecters on the tank but I have not done the ones on the back of the gauge so I will try that. Thanks Chris

One man there who had military vehicles said you will be told you need 24v...

my fuel gauge is playing up, the reading keeps going up and down and generally settles on near full, as the wolf is 24 volt is it a standard defender sender unit to replace. Thanks Chris
