seller asking buyer to gift money screams con to most buyers. paypal is a conveinient to buy stuff... . ok for high volume low value sellers who can survive a low percentage of refunds but i wouldnt use it for high value low volume where even one refund will hurt.

ive only just seen the thread and also cant quite beleive it. not only will a horse survive several days without food, but in a situation where livestock has to be fed or rescued the first people to turn to are the local farmers, not only have they got far better equipment than any landrover ...

even a dissconected battery will go flat . it needs to be charged once in a while to keep it healthy...

battery going flat and mice chewing wires is the only other things to worry about

must be possible to rig one of the cigar lighter fans above the passenger footwell so it blows air over the existing heater matrix for the winter.....just got to find where the existing fan set up pulls air in when its set to recirculate

going back to fannys mondeo , if its been in deep water and got wet inside tis probably better to scrap it and buy another banger.... theres pleanty about for hundreds. especially if you aint fussy on make and model. depends how you value your time, and what other water damage comes to light...

near side wheels tend to loosen nuts due to the direction of rotation.... lots of commercials have left hand threads on nearside ... twin wheel ford transits were one example

if its a 200tdi disco its apparently a day to take the whole dashboard apart to get the fan out to replace it. mine eventually stopped working so ive got a fan sat on top of the dash plugged into the cigar lighter to demist the screen ... still get some hot air out the heater when moving but...

i just opens the side doors and stand on the floor ,

hydraulic bottle jack and wheel chock should be under bonnet behind one of the headlights... battery is behind tother one. wheelbrace and jack handle live under the passenger seats, allong with 3 roof bars if youve got roof rails.. my roof bars will slide out from under the rear seat base...
