Thanks!, I still have door tops to build up for the front, fit the 2nd row doors and build up, a front wing to be painted, rear safari door to repair and paint, and not forgetting to complete the wiring, fuel system, sort out seating, etc… so plenty to do yet

Been a mammoth project for you but you can see the finish line, I did my rear door with a new bottom repair piece which came up the sides and a new skin but it seems to dent easily can’t have been the proper birmabright spec.

You are right - still a lot to do but every step forward is a win! I was going to order a lower repair section for the safari door too. Where did you buy yours from? I suspect they will all be the same.

Rear door bottom repair

every time the wind catches the door it swings round 180 and I need to buy another fog light lens! A few queries here as this is next job for this month * The sliding stay arm does not really do anything on mine as it’s just wigging in a big rust hole ,does anyone have one that works properly-...

Thought I would get some window fitting underway tonight. I had bought some new seals and infills for the alpine windows so might as well get them fitted! I cleaned the windows to get rid of any dirt and grime then I pushed the new seal into the aperture on the hard top fitting the joint at the top. It was longer than required so I trimmed to length. It took a few goes to get the window seated correctly. I used some silicone spray to help it on its way. It took around half an hour to get the glass seated correctly and two goes! I fitted the infill strip which went in well with the windscreen tool I bought for the job. Couldn’t have done it without it! The other side was a bit more difficult for some reason. I turned the glass round and it fitted better……thankfully! Another job done
