Yeah felt like a bit of an idiot when I realised! And yeah the box the injector came in was a bit mangled so when I opened it, it felt straight out onto the top of it but it clip still clamps in fine luckily! I took it for a test drive and the rough idle disappeared and no sign of limp mode but...

Hi Arctic, So yes I poured what was left in the tubes back into the measuring jugs, so with injector 3 I’m guessing best thing to do is just replace it with another injector. I understand that would sort the smoke/rough idle problem but would that also be a possible cause for it randomly going...

Thanks for the ideas! I’ll give all the cleaning a go on the weekend(weather dependent!) and see if that solves the problem before I venture into the injector route!

I was thinking low pressure pump but then I wasn’t sure how it would cause smoke so I wasn’t sure! Checked the hoses and all seemed fine had one hose that had a bit of wear on it from rubbing against the screw on the intake but no leak coming from it!
