    I have been running straight water with no coolant. Would that matter or affect the sensor reading?

    I changed the coolant temp sensor. Cleaned and the fuel sensor and the gauge sensor works fine

    Thanks for the reply. The temp gauge work great and wiring looks fine and the fuel temp seems to be fine as well. I thought about lamba/o2 sensors but the ECU code is telling me it is the coolant temp sensor. I will have to see if it is earthing somewhere and chase it down. Thanks

    My 93 RRC is running rich. Starts fine when cold but hard starting after it warms up. Code reader below the seat shows "14", coolant temp sensor. Replaced sensor and still won't clear. Plugged another correct ECU to it and got the same result. All I can think is there is a break in the...

    My 1987 Range Rover, with 3.5 petrol engine, runs great most of the time, but has annoying new habit. When I am coming to stop it will stall out, but immediatly starts back and I go on my way. It doesnt do it all the time, but seems to happen more before the engine reaches it optimum operating...
