    Once you are on a project use kit car and special suppliers like Europa. Doesn't have to be race or rally as you don't have to reach their standards.

    Don't worry about over thinking things. It is normal when you have a project. I reworked and made about 4versions of the spare wheel mount for a kit car and I am still not happy with it.

    We keep the fan in the bedroom going for them more than us as well as a dog bowl of water on the landing. Edit: I felt that I should add that we don't lap from the same bowl as them, no matter how it is!!

    Its melting outside we have peeps coming at 5 for drinks then I'll get the bbq fired up. I think its too hot to sit out got a big fan going in the living living room to keep the dogs cool, they have a pool outside as well. :)

    In this weather we,like many round here always have a biggish bottle of tap water in the fridge. It helps that our tap water tastes good. No need to freeze it unless you intend going on a trip or summat.

    It works if I connect two wires, positive and load to the two terminals. So I am happy with that.

    I would also add that the switch makes the connection (would agree bimetalic switch) to P & N but the load, your floor element maybe off terminals 5&6. Who knows what goes on behind? J
