    3mm to 5mm or 8mm to 5mm not a big difference from what you have now. That's why I swap front to back on services to keep the wear even.

    Use CUNIC for the pipes, it's pretty cheap and easy to make the pipes up, I have had to replace the rear pipes on my P38.

    The gearbox under tray mounts to the heat shields either side with 6 Dzus fasteners, I have binned the foam. I will have to see how much noisier it is. Got the sump back on today, 2 of the bolts are fiddly, one bolt hole can hardly be seen due...

    I love that color! Well, I managed to plug the trailer socket. Aparently it s too much to ask for normed cables, e.g. for standardized 13 pin sockets, to adhere to a color scheme. At least the pin usage is common between providers... Anyway...

    If the fan has a viscous coupling, it may that it has failed, a common problem.

    More electronics = more to go wrong in my experience. The rear sensors on both my P38's are original and still working fine after 25+ years, the fronts were replaced 14 years ago on one and about 6 years ago on the other one so hardly...

    You could find one with a good rad and keep this one as donor. If no MOT Itl be laid up anyhow? Just depends on your personal preference. I would mention you should ask the boys here what happens when you go down the rabbit hole of scrapper...

    Definitely too many faults reported. Cannot believe two airbags & two crash sensors have all failed ?? As above check the diagnostic connector for corrosion. Also check the SRS Bulbs in the cluster. There are usually two, & if one fails...

    Plus there is a collar molded into the pipe to aid insertion, if the pipe has been cut back, the collar will prevent full insertion.

    The rear airlines are much harder to get into the airbags than the fronts. Maybe they are simply not fully seated ?
