I wouldn't worry about the colour of the connectors if they fit together correctly, may just down to year of production.
I believe that the MG TF fits and is cheaper than the JLR parts, others will confirm. Never had to replace my door lock...

Changed lower arms on front of my l322, got pulled mot as a advisory, bit of a knock on bumps but couldn’t feel any play in them, anyway car feels totally different no wheel wobble on motorway, no knock and steering feels much tighter.
There is indeed a "Key" to open the sunroof when the motor fails or whatever.
Here is a pic of my one. The blade is 10mm across so a large flat-blade screwdriver will work too.

Sounds reasonable.
If you put a line of chalk across the treads and drive back and forth a few times on a flat spot (e.g. car-park) then if only the centre part of the line vanishes first, the tyres have too much air in.
Latest news on my extended holiday, the ca is now ready...almost! The garage replaced the belt nd all the pullies except one which is priced at about €400! All others are done, pus a new belt, EGR valve, and a full regen so that's now al clear...
