    Mine doesn't have a dipstick. Stupid idea! Dipsticks don't break or wear out, like sensors do so it's a good job the oil level isn't important

    Sure he said the one on mine had both ends changeable . May be some one in the past had fitted a doctored track rod or the tester hadn't looked correctly. Any way proper one on order

    A long time ago, I had a test drive in a brand new Classic when I was looking for a replacement vehicle. Unfortunately, the gear lever came out in my hand so the journey back the the dealers was in second gear! I purchased an XJS instead.

    Pretty much the same as you. Pros. 1) For the price it is a hell of a lot of car, especially if you have a scrapper for parts and a backup car (our backup is now Honda Jazz!). 2) I can use it for work and it takes a ton of wood with no issues...

    They get under your skin and you can't part with them. The times in the past I was getting rid BUT now what would I buy. On a limited budget its cheaper to run my P38 than buy another car for the money I would get for her.

    For the egr valve pull the vacuum hose off and plug the pipe with a bolt and you will not have any more problems with it as it will not work anymore and clog the engine with junk :vb-biggrin:
