Thanks for your repley's !! The key that i bought off ebay is new, unused they said !! i did check his / her feed back and all was good lots of people had bought the Range Rover key 100% !! i now know that they must have lots of friends !! lol

I am very sorry to say that i did buy the key from ebay !! So i am off to the dealer next week to buy a key from them !! I just hope that it will work then ? as i do not have a working key yet !

Hi Can anyone help me !!! Range Rover 1996 dse, alarm fault, the key fob does not work !! Bought new key and i cannot syncronise the new key !! I can use the EKA and it start's all ok !! Checked alarm power and earth to the reciever all ok, fitted new reciever, checked wiring down to the becm...

Just one thing make sure Hi/Low works, as if not then you may be looking at replacing the hi/low motor and ecu !! Also if it is auto then try the sport switch mode button, it will display "s" in the lcd part of the dash, if it does not light up then there may be a fault with the auto box...

HI, I would start by looking at the fuel pipe that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel lift pump. Just around the fuel lift pump, cracks appear and let in air into the fuel system! You will need to replace the fuel lift pump in this case. Hope that may help you. RRC :-)
