    When those manifold bolds are rusted & rounder, I found hammering on one of these spline sockets enables them to be removed.

    The problem is the manufolds obscure the head bolts. When I did my engine rebuild, I cut away the flange to allow access to the bolts in future. The bit cut off doesn't make any difference. For the manifold they need a decent 12-point socket...

    +1 on don't take the nut fully off. If you then wobble the wheel left-right it will loosen the splines easily.

    Open Windows Device Manager. Expand the Ports section, and then open Properties. Then in the properties box it will show the cable hardware manufacturer.

    Yes 10 studs per head, so 20 total. Do shop around just in case. Realsteel were cheapest genuine Arp when I bought mine a few years back, but you never know !

    Remember many of the nuts & bolts on the V8 heads & block are Imperial due to it's USA origin, so always check. The rest of the P38 is metric.
