Hi guys, this is a bit of a daft one but my OCD is killing me 😂 The engine cover on the TD6 engine has a grommet which a pin on the cover clips into but I can't seem to buy one any more. Every where I try they come back as...

Sounds like a voltage issue. Not necessarily the battery, more something has partially shorted out causing a serious drain. Try disconnecting the alternator. It may be semi-shorted out inside. Also wondering if you have a seized...

Low resistance is normally the heater coil inside the sensor fusing together. Very very rarely wiring or connector issues. New sensor of the correct specification should sort that code, and as said earlier, will function fine once warmed up by...

The siren in my Saab failed for dead batteries and just sounded off, usually at 3am or when driving past police cars. May have a look to see if I can buy a new one as they're often glued together.

I like the chirps/beeps when locking and unlocking, extra peace of mind the car does what i want it to. The keys were knackered when I bought the car and the fuse for the siren was pulled so it didn't sound when the previous owner got into the...

Hi guys. 2006 Vogue TD6 Bit of a strange one, got an intermittent siren issue. The siren sometimes beeps with the central locking and sounds off if I open the doors using the key. Other times it doesn't do anything. Anyone had this issue...

I second the left hand drill bits. I keep a decent stockpile of them for exactly this reason. If you get brass guides as well that can save the holes and threads of the block as they can help keep the drill centred. I'm lucky enough to have...

Pressure tested the AC last week with UV dye and the condenser looks like an 80s pop star that had been shot with a shotgun. Holes everywhere. New condenser fitted today, regass, evaporated temp down to 1°. Now we'll have 6 months of rain and cold.
