i did'nt think of it being for a petrol . would that be the reason why the battery goes flat though ? i have looked at the red light on gear shift and it does go out ? i do live it the sticks so little interference i would think.

i can't get land rovers reccommended data only hand book 107ah . and battery sites show different sizes. i will try main dealers tuesday i think see if they can give me some paper work to show halfords .

yer now i find out not to use them . trouble is i now have to try to get a refund, if i can show the one they sold me is under powered ,there fore why it keeps going flat ,i'd be in with a chance .

thats funny you should say that because one of the guys that did tests said battery was unserviceable. i just thought that if it stood so long off the car then still started it , it must be ok . they also said the amps ? went down to 9 when cranking wich they did not think was good. does that...

i have changed the battery twice so i really don't think it is the battery but i suppose it is possible . i had an land rover one that was about 4years old wich used to go flat after several days . i changed that for a halford's one recomended for the p38 ,that went flat so i took it back and...

the drain was 30ma when tested battery can be left days off the car and still start it when put back on . i there fore assume the drain is not there all the time . thus leading me to think it wakes up . does that not make sence ? is the sleep test look for the red light ?
