Hi Guys and cats and canoes and stuff. Am fitting a recon vcu on saturday and new bearings too . Will let you know if it cures the noise, then i'll have to cure the big hole in the bank balance. If it dont fix it i will also bash the wifey with the old one so check this space for possible...

Hi Guys , well i reckon i will now be changin me tyres on the back now anyway as i av checked out me vcu this w/end ,as reccomended ,and it was well seized. i couldn't shift it at all with the bar it was just springing back , and the front shaft was digging in . My rear tyres are looking notchy...

thanx to all reply's on the vcu question !! i will check it out thanx mondo. Maybe only remove the rear prop as a last resort to save the ird. I'ts not the tires as i have tried that. Anyone changed there own vcu ? any tips apart from paying a main dealer ? Thanks again for any useful suggestions !
