I use a length of the spring wire plastic coated that was used to hang netting from in windows. Its flexi and thin enough to go down the drains easily

Usually RF interference waking the BECM, so disconnect the RF antenna from the receiver. It's under the offside rear shelf.

When this happened to me, in a Discovery 2 TD5, the problem was the MAP/Iat sensor. Just saying.

Well, the "What did you do today ..." thread is not the best place to track all the wiring stiry. So here an update and summary so far: All cables are identified and the routing as well. The rear harness is in, the main harness passes...

The Blaupunkt one is 400€ or £450 from a UK seller !! I put one of these in my Blue P38. And yes changed the backlighting to green !! Sounds good, and because the speaker outs are floating (effectively balanced), it worked out of the box...

That is even within my price range, I have saved the details in case one of mine fails again.

Just short of 106€ not bad really if it's a nice system. There is some utter crap around 😵
