My current paint job is too bad to leave or even patch. I have a feeling it will be one of the least enjoyable parts of the restoration

I want to remove the paint because it is flaking off to the point where you can see the aluminium underneath. My landrover was made in 86 I think, I am not sure but know that it is a D plate.

I am a new owner of an Ex MOD landrover. I am restoring it at the moment, and I have heard that the paint is full of cobalt. If this is true, is there any advice on how to remove it safely.
