I know it's great! Ive got to take some paint back to get it welded up and clear some rust from the bulkhead and want to repaint over the top with the original/close colour. I havent seen any other lightweight with this colour scheme, intrigued to see why its painted this way too.

Evening! I'm after new axles for a series 1 86", the current rear one is a 'semi-floating' type and wanted something more like a later series axle or defender. It has a modded 3.5 V8 so after something a little beefed up... it has LT77/230 (5speed) boxes in, so ratios aren't too crucial...

Yeah I'm used to the ones with a flange and 5 bolts holding it, but this has nothing like that and can't find any info anywhere! It doesn't appear to be a cover and after taking the drum brake apart still have no ideas...
