The original freelander 3 was rebadged, discovery sport. JLR wanted to move away from the freelander brand which was a shame fl1 and fl2 were/are pretty good cars yes yes I know we all take the ****. The discovery sport however not so much.

Hi Andy Thank you for suggesting to use a NAK driveshaft seal fitted one today and the problem is now solved!!! What a relief the NAK seal is a lot tighter to fit and also tighter on the shaft don't use OEM or genuine they're crap! As I found out...
