Exactly the same happened to me the other week. Turned out to be a completely failed cv. I thought mine was the diff at one point as I could jack up each front wheel independently and spin it but neither would turn the prop shaft

That's good to hear. Just a little worried that both of the front wheels span without turning the prop when individually jacked and spun (with 3other wheels on the ground) But a landy/agri mech I spoke to said that sometimes that can happen when just a single cv goes?
