Yeah, no bother. Paddocks, LRDirect, YRM etc I'm sure they all post abroad.
It's just a bit of a faff on getting the permutations of exhaust systems to brackets right. I've found that anyway
You can say that again! nightmare on the old S3, and even now i'm unsure if they are fitted correctly!

How many silencer boxes does it (or did it) have?
I've replaced it with the original system.
Mine comprises of:
Down pipe from manifold which includes a flexi joint and a DPF (One hanger bracket on the end)
Centre silencer box. This lies parallel to the passenger side chassis rail and starts about level with the transfer box. (hanger bracket on each end of the silencer box)
Tail pipe. This goes up and over the rear axle and exits behind the rear passenger wheel. (one hanger bracket at the end fixes to rear cross member)

So just one box!

That's exactly the system i'm going to get, which helps a bit!

Is there a bracket that attaches to the t/box on your system?

Is there a bracket that attaches to the t/box on your system?
No.
The end of the down pipe goes to a long bracket that comes out from the chassis rail.
The first silencer box bracket does the same further along the chassis rail.
The second silencer box bracket fixes to a hanger bracket which bolts to the centre cross-member. (this is the one I've had trouble confirming as the bolts holes for it were full of galv and I didn't see them at first)
The last one on the end of the tail pipe fixes to the rear cross member.
I'm going to order the mystery hanger from YRM tonight

Does that look just about right?

This is a picture of my system before I put it on. I was wrong about the position of the down pipe hanger. It's nearer to the DPF. You can just see it in the picture, it's in line with half way point of the silencer box.

That looks right to me.
If your's is the same as mine above then, working from tail pipe towards the engine.

YRM products
Tail pipe product no: 016
silencer box to centre cross member product no: 016B
Other end of silencer box product no: 016E
Down pipe just past DPF product no: 016A

Okay, perfect! i've written that down and i shall hope to get the conversion on the way in the coming month/few months. Thanks for your help!

Question unrelated to the exhaust, about the gearbox.
I plan to slightly tune the old 300tdi to get more juice out of it. Thing is, it would be adviseable to change the gearbox and transfer with it. Im prepared to do the transfer box, but i don't want to have to replace the tunneling and stuff, so would the lt77 manage to take the strains of a 300tdi?

No problem. Good luck with it. 30 min job to fit, once you've got the right gear sorted.

I'm pretty sure some 300Tdi's were originally fitted with lt77 boxes.

300s were all r380 ,suffix g and h are very strong boxes g been the best due to h having a compound synchro on first and second which often fails,
