Yo guys, so I've just gone out and bought a fairly rough but solid Disco 1. Its 300tdi manual, with a lot of miles on it, but seems to have been looked after fairly well, however, it does have a few minor issues that i need to address in the very near future and thats where I'm hoping some of you guys will come in. First off, the central locking no longer works, it has no remote fob with it, but I'm wondering if a new fob will be able to be coded (or what have you) in? Next, the dash board is peeling/ warping quite badly, is this fixable? If so what would i need? Last thing for now, the aircon pump has been removed at some stage, is it possible to retro fit another one on? Not sure whats left of the old aircon yet, but any ideas on if its possible? Sorry for the long winded essay, i hope I've got this in right place for answers as well. Thanks in advance for any info

Yes on all three. If you search the forum you will find more info on central locking, lifting dash top and fixing a/c all of these have been mentioned before more than once.

I think there is some form of rail you can buy to fix the dash.

Yes there is a repair part, I think I got one from Brookwells, it makes things much smarter, but I found that the screws that came with it were too short and I used longer dry wall screws, bit fiddly with the screen in but do-able
