Some help needed please.
I have an Xi Millenium Edt (W Reg) Freelander. As its a Limited Edition it has a Blaupunkt BP9263 single CD ICE Unit in place of the regular R770 or R660 ( think thats the models normally associated with these Station Wagons). Anyway, It looks like Land Rover decided to ship the Millenium Edt with incorrect Stereo manuals and the Haynes manual I have (97 - 2003) does not seem to cover this particular unit either.
When we purchased, the stereo was in a state of 'CODE WAIT', after an hour we we're able to put the code in only to find that the mid-range door speakers (front and rear) were intermitently cutting out. I had a mate who deals with car stereos take a look at the head unit and it appears that somewhere along the line another unit was wired in and the connectors look like a real mess at the back.
If anyone knows where I can find a copy of this wiring diagram I would be really grateful, then I can begin the long process of eliminating potential faults.

It may be specific to this model but as far as I am aware Blaupunkt only ever used the DIN standard connectors. These are two separate plugs, one grey and one tan coloured with two rows of four pins in each. The locking clip was in a different position on each so they could not be fitted incorrectly and one plug has all of the speaker connectors and the other all of the power, electric aerial, phone mute etc.
The standard loom has the following colours:
SP R/F Orange, SP L/F Yellow, SP R/R Blue, SP L/R Grey all with Pink Positive & Black return as a trace line. The doors themselves have the same colour in left and right as the door looms were the same.
Purple is continuous feed, LightGreen/White switched feed, Black earth return.
If they are there then Black/White and Black/Red are steering column controls.
Finally if the original unit used the clock as the radio display ther would be a separate 3 core screened cable to go to the display.
All this is available from the RAVE disk, having seen several cars "brew up" due to bodged radio installations I would recommend removing and replacing all of the damaged cable so you know everything is good. Most car audio fitters including Halfords do the twin plugs prewired with unterminated cables and I would fit these as they will fit the majority of aftermarket radios either directly or through an adapter cable.
