genuine deepender one, that you can see running and without too many miles - £800 to £1000.
disco one - £150 to £400.

What are the differences between them? Surely can't be much given how many Discos get scrapped and get their motor lumped into a deepender.....

plumbing mainly - air intake, cooling, PAS.

...and as we found out recently, disco engine has a timing belt tensioner that the defender doesn't.
