To clarify, does your key look like this:
If yes, no problems.
If it is a standard type key then you have no immobiliser and I'd be worried as the electrics have been butchered.
But on the plus, you don't need the EKA.
So you think a fan assisted oven at gas mark 7 for twenty minutes a pound is a bit of overkill then.

i have one like that but buttons are boogerd ..when i lock it with the key the red light comes on the dash .
i dont know now if i should take it out

Would be a good idea to get the FOB working, but if you can start the car as it is, then taking out the BECM should cause you no problem as long as you have the EKA code.

im not going to use the oven i will use the dish washer 1st then in to the microwave it will be faster ,,

Good move.
If you can, dry to dry out the carpets, a dehumidifier if you have one, or a small electric heater on a low setting.

You made a dumb joke that if someone was as careful as you reading my responses your response might have been taken seriously.
You can get key referb kits on eBay for about a fiver.i have one like that but buttons are boogerd ..when i lock it with the key the red light comes on the dash .

Come with 2 new batteries, new back cover, o ring and buttons.
Makes keys look good as new. But there is still a chance you'll need the EKA if you pop the batteries out, so I'd lay off that bit and just replace the buttons.

had the same problem on a 96 hse some years ago turned out to be a duff wire behind the radio

the wires have been cut to fit the radio they did not use a iso connector .
more to look at tomorow its getting to y did i buy this car
Ah, my mistake. They aren't cheap to replace either. £140 from LR if I recall correctly, currently with a 6 month lead time.
