i dont know im starting to think i got a rong one
so don't i need the code now seats out ready to go
So if you had read what I said, I suggested the airing cupboard and in response to the compressed air suggestion I said that a hairdryer could be used on a low setting from a distance. I did not make the fecking stupid comment of putting it in the oven as you did which you clearly thought was funny.
As helpful as an alligator attached to your arse.
To clarify, does your key look like this:
![]()
If yes, no problems.
If it is a standard type key then you have no immobiliser and I'd be worried as the electrics have been butchered.
But on the plus, you don't need the EKA.
i have one like that but buttons are boogerd ..when i lock it with the key the red light comes on the dash .
i dont know now if i should take it out![]()
So you think a fan assisted oven at gas mark 7 for twenty minutes a pound is a bit of overkill then.![]()
Make sure it's a hot wash with a pre rinseim not going to use the oven i will use the dish washer 1st then in to the microwave it will be faster ,,![]()
Would be a good idea to get the FOB working, but if you can start the car as it is, then taking out the BECM should cause you no problem as long as you have the EKA code.
Good move.i will put the seat back in for now i can't fined the code '
i will sort the remote out and get the code 1st
ok i will do that but not pull any plugs yetGood move.
If you can, dry to dry out the carpets, a dehumidifier if you have one, or a small electric heater on a low setting.
Good luckok i will do that but not pull any plugs yet
i will let you all know when i have sorted the key and got the cade .
thanks alot
I'm sorry I missed your comment about the airing Cubbord , as for your sence or humor I've rattled you is was a joke even the thickest person as you put it could see that, but as for your foul Language there is no need for that on a respectable site is thereSo if you had read what I said, I suggested the airing cupboard and in response to the compressed air suggestion I said that a hairdryer could be used on a low setting from a distance. the remote key is naffed the click bit of the buttons on the circuit board are brokeYou can get key referb kits on eBay for about a fiver.
Come with 2 new batteries, new back cover, o ring and buttons.
Makes keys look good as new. But there is still a chance you'll need the EKA if you pop the batteries out, so I'd lay off that bit and just replace the buttons.
Ah, my mistake. They aren't cheap to replace either. £140 from LR if I recall correctly, currently with a 6 month lead time.the remote key is naffed the click bit of the buttons on the circuit board are broke
